Pre-Professional Law Program

Preparing the Next Generation of Leaders in Law

About the Program

The WrightChoice Pre-Professional Law Program (PPLP) is designed to equip undergraduate students many of whom are first generation students with knowledge, connections, and experiences necessary to thrive in the legal profession. Through hands-on exposure, mentorship, and professional development, we prepare future lawyers to navigate law school and beyond with confidence.

6 Week Rotational Experience

Gain firsthand exposure to diverse legal settings, including:

  • Solo Practitioners

  • In-House Corporate Counsel

  • Nonprofit & Government Lawyers

  • Judges & Courtroom Observations

Professional Development

Engage in weekly sessions focused on law school preparation, legal writing, advocacy, and career pathways.

Program Commitment

  • PPLP starts June 1 and ends July 18.

  • There are no rotations the first week in July.

  • Rotations are scheduled between 8:30am - 3pm. The actual times vary based on law firm or lawyers schedule.

  • Bus passes and parking vouchers also provided.

  • Students who successfully complete the rotations will receive $1,000 scholarship.

Who Should Apply?

  • Undergraduate students interested in law

  •  First-generation college students (rising sophomore - recent graduates *must have graduated May 2024 or later)

  •  Students seeking mentorship & real-world experience
